How to Import & Export Oracle Database ?

Now we can able to import or export the database tables as we like
First we will see How to export the existing user tables in to the destination dmp file.
Exp username/password full=y file=c:\dump\suresh.dmp
After completion the execution process , we will see the file i.e suresh.dmp in the specific path directory
We got the final dump file from the user called Suresh.
We can import this dump file into the another user based on our requirement.
Now we will see How to import the dump file called suresh.dmp i.e available in the path called
Step – 1
Create the user .
Start the SQL Run command for executing the queries
First we have to connect oracle administrator for executing the queries
By default System is the oracle administrator.
Create the username called “sai”
User created successfully…
We have to Give the DBA permission to the user called sai.
We have ‘n’ no of permissions in dba in Oracle Database..
How to give full dba permission to the user called sai.
Grant dba to sai;
Now we can connect the user called sai.
Now we will see any tables created in the user called sai..
Ofcourse just now only we create a user i.e sai , for testing purpose only we are trying….
We got the result called no rows selected..
I.e No tables are there…
Now we are going to import the dump file into this user
How to import suresh.dmp into the username called sai.
Select the Start Database
We will get a window
Now we have to enter the query for import
Imp sai/sai full=y file=c:\dump\suresh.dmp;
